This page explains how the vitroplant.be website handles cookies and personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian electronic-communications law.

Cookies
Audience measurement (Google Analytics)
This website uses Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure its audience in aggregate form: number of visits, pages viewed, referral source, device type. The tool sets cookies (_ga and _ga_XXXXXXXXXX) lasting about thirteen months.
These cookies and the Google script are loaded only after your consent, given through the banner shown on your first visit. Until you accept — or if you refuse — no Google script is loaded and no measurement cookie is set. Refusing is as easy as accepting and has no effect on your browsing.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, as transposed into Belgian law).
You may withdraw your consent at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer, or by deleting the cookies in your browser.
Google acts as a processor. Data may be processed by Google LLC in the United States, on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The IP address is anonymised.
Strictly necessary cookies
The vp_consent cookie (180 days) stores your choice — accepted or refused — so that the banner is no longer shown. A session cookie is also used in the private administration area (staff login), never while browsing the public site. These cookies do not require consent.
Contact form
When you use the form on the “Contact” page, we process the following data:
- name;
- company;
- email address;
- telephone number (optional);
- the content of your message.
Purpose: to answer your enquiry and manage the business relationship between professionals.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request, and the company’s legitimate interest in replying to its correspondents.
Recipients: FVP srl staff only. The message is sent by email to info@vitroplant.be and kept in the company mailbox, hosted within the European Union.
Retention: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then, where applicable, for the business relationship, for a maximum of three years from the last contact.
No data is transferred outside the European Union. No automated decision-making or profiling.
Server logs
For security and operational purposes, the hosting server automatically records technical connection data: IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser type. These logs rely on legitimate interest and are kept for no more than twelve months, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to info@vitroplant.be.
